Organization to Develop Our Villages (ODOV) is a non-profit, non-partisan and non-governmental organization committed to serve the Cambodian people. ODOV’s vision is that the Cambodian people are living in a positive environment, dignity, good health, and peace.

ODOV is inviting applications from Cambodian nationals for the position of One Project Coordinator and One Technical Field Staff. This position will be located in Mesang, Kampong Trabaek and Baphnom Districts of Prey Veng Province. ODOV offers competitive compensation packages.

A- Project Coordinator:

Key responsibilities:

1. Work together with the technical field staff to:
a. Facilitate and strengthen function of Producer Groups, Village Banks and Agriculture Cooperatives.
b. Plan, design, and develop training materials for the Improvement Household Food Security Project (IHFSP) as appropriate to the capacity of the participants.
c. Organize, facilitate, or co-facilitate workshops for the Improvement Household Food Security Project (IHFSP).
d. Provide follow up and monitoring of workshop participants to identify further training to support their needed.
e. Support and build the capacity of Producer Groups, Village Banks and Agriculture Cooperatives in the fields of Business Development, Planning, and Reporting, Problem-Solving, Leadership skills and organizational management as needs.
f. Keep appropriate data and record of activities, outputs and outcome related to program objectives.
2. Supervise the technical field staff. And develop and strengthen their capacity.
3. Responsible in managing, monitoring, and evaluation for the Improvement Household Food Security Project (IHFSP).
4. Report on the activities, monthly, quarterly and annually, as requested by Executive Director.
5. Network with other local and international NGOs, and appropriate government officials regards program issues.

Qualifications:
o At least a Bachelor Degree in Agriculture or Rural Development and Management.
o Must have at least three years of relevant experience, preferably, agriculture food production and nutrition and community development.
o Prefer experience in working with Community Based Organization/Agriculture Cooperatives and Producer Groups.
o Prefer experiences in Business Development/ Cooperative’s Business.
o Must have computer skill such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Power Point.
o Ideally have facilitation, communication skills, and networking.

B- Technical Field Staff

Key responsibilities:

1) Organize, facilitate, or co-facilitate workshops and training on sustainable agriculture techniques (fish, vegetables and rice growing, chicken raising, compost making, etc), family nutrition, business principles, record keeping, etc.
2) Work with ODOV project team to select the target households based on the set criteria.
3) Work with ODOV project team to establish Producer Groups.
4) Strengthen and build the capacity of community based organizations including Agriculture Cooperative. Village Bank and Producer Groups
5) Follow up with training participants to provide technical support as required.
6) Report on the activities on monthly, quarterly and annually of the project.
7) Network with other local and international NGOs, and appropriate government officials regards project issues.

Qualifications:
o Must have a Bachelor Degree in Agriculture or Rural Development or relevant fields.
o Must have at least one year of relevant experience, preferably, agriculture food production and nutrition and community development.
o Must have computer skill such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Power Point.
o Ideally have facilitation and communication skills.
